After DJing for 20 years, Nico is releasing her first album ‘Be One’, featuring traditional folk instruments and songs from her homeland Transylvania as well as a selection of Balkan Instruments. Its aim is to help preserve these old traditional instruments and folk songs by bring them back to life on an electronic music platform.

Nico has also launched “Forests Without Frontiers” charity with the album sales which go towards planting trees in Romania, in the area where the musicians live. The goal is to plant forests for future generations and preserve the environment where these communities live.
