Nico’s aim is to help preserve the old traditional instruments and folk songs from her homeland Transylvania and bring them back to life on an electronic dance music platform. “Be One’ album weaves together the two genres of music that she has been DJ-ing: the electronic dance music and world music.

With the album she has also launched a charity “Forests Without Frontiers” and all album sales will go towards planting trees in Transylvania in the area where the musicians live.
