The Muzică Without Frontiers (MWF) record label was founded by Nico de Transilvania as a Community Interest Company in 2018. It encompasses a range of interlinked activities aimed to inspiring people to come together and have fun, as well as protecting the planet and each other.

MWF stages live shows, operates as a record label, bespoke events management and production company, and as a fundraising initiative for environmental and social causes. Uniting these strands is the Without Frontiers concept, meaning that we want to celebrate diversity and oneness, and to cultivate a spirit of joy, playfulness and connection within everything we do.

MUSIC PRODUCTION

Specialising in global beats and the fusion of traditional and modern sounds, as well as in connecting people and nature through music, the experienced Muzică team offer high quality production services for musicians, artists and film-makers.

MWF has also produced a range of bespoke compilations for art galleries, fashion shows, art installations, hotels and other venues. The team design playlists for restaurants, bars, private launches, and also offer music supervision for film productions.

FILM PRODUCTION + CREATIVE DIRECTION

MWF team can advise on short film production and create unique and evocative soundtracks. Nico worked as an Associate Producer on a trilogy of films (Wild Carpathia) focussing on the beautiful, but threatened, mountains and forests of Romania. She also produced and directed the short film about the “making of” her album Be One.

LIVE SHOWS

Working in regular collaboration with a wide family of global musicians and artists, the MWF team are the ultimate entertainers. Captivating, immersive and inclusive, their memorable shows include live musicians, dance, visual art performance, film, theatre, costumes, DJing and MCing and mixing. Artists and spectators become one entity, taken on a global beat journey, dissolving barriers through music, dance and the visual arts. Connection happens on the dance floor where the audience connect through music and dance and artists part of show.

Nico has worked along-side many talented musicians, including Blondie, Leftfield, Apparat, Norman Cook, M.I.A, Telepopmusik, Adam Freeland, Lamb, Nickodemus, The Correspondents, Fanfara Ciocarlia, Mahala Rai Banda and Boban Markovic.

BESPOKE EVENTS

MWF conceptualises and designs events including weddings, food pop-ups and other private events. As part of a wide network of artists and facilitators, MWF has access to the venues and industry contacts that enable the design and implementation of enchanting bespoke experiences. Their watchwords are attention to detail, whether it be to sound, décor and even smell, so that the atmosphere becomes electric, creating a sense of unity, celebration and belonging. Curator, artists and participants meet on the dancefloor, or at the dining table, to start a journey together beyond frontiers.
